Happy Holidays divers. It’s almost time for another Christmas At Vets Park. This year we will be celebrating the holiday with the the 1st DIVEVETS UNDERWATER CHRISTMAS GIFT HUNT!
WHEN: Saturday, December 19, 2009
WHERE: Veterans Park, Redondo Beach
TIME: 9:30am Briefing
The event is simple and it’s going to be a blast. Our team of trained SCUBA Elves will be placing gift markers underwater, find one and you just guaranteed yourself a prize. There is a twist, gifts will be picked White Elephant style, so someone might be ending up with a boat trip, BC Cleaning Kit, a lump of coal or maybe just an O-Ring.
Keeping with the holiday spirit, we will have the donation jar available to help with our continued fundraising for the Disabled Veterans Scuba Project. There will be the usual DiveVet BBQ & Debrief following the event. Feel free to bring something to share with the group.
